Lookout Mountain Engagement | Colorado

Colorado is a place of many hidden gems! All along the slopes, there are stunning lookouts with breathtaking views, and Lookout Mountain was no exception.

I met Luke while attending college at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He was one of Ryan’s five roommates, all of whom quickly became some of my favorite people. These guys are the cream of the crop. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of men to surround my husband (then-boyfriend). They were there when we were flirty and started dating, and they were all standing by Ryan’s side when we said “I do.”

We’ve always had high expectations for who they would all end up with. When we met Makenna, we knew right away. She was it! She is everything I love about a strong woman! She is sweet and kind yet fierce and independent. She’s the perfect woman for Luke!
I was so excited when they asked me to take their engagement photos! Of all the shoots I’ve ever done, this was the easiest because it was just hanging out with some close friends! It was so natural, and we had a blast. I brought Ryan along, and we grabbed dinner afterward with Luke and Makenna and talked about wedding details. Luke even asked Ryan to be a groomsman!

In Luke and Makenna’s story, Bonnie Brae was also a special place, so we snapped a few old-time shots at this adorable ice cream parlor. We love you, Luke & Makenna!
